Cooling down and sipping on my shake! Happy yogi feet galore.

Chocolate milk is supposed to be one of the best (and tastiest!) post-workout snacks. UNTIL NOW, MY FRIENDS. After an hour of bouldering and an intense yoga practice, I wanted something comforting to take me into study-mode. I combined some favourite flavours and boosters and the result was one of the best shakes I’ve ever had. The mac gives it a distinct malted flavour that screams “DREAM MILKSHAKE.”

Maca and coconut oil also nourish the skin, hair, and nails from the inside. (Can this shake get ANY better? Yes.)

Frothy, nutty, creamy, chocolate-y and FULL of good protein, fats, and sugars? Sign me up.

This bad boy has 16 grams of protein, too!

For the best milkshake, combine all ingredients in the base of a small blender and place in the fridge before your workout (don’t blend it just yet!)

You will need:

  • 2% Cow’s Milk (Can’t guarantee this as a vegan recipe!) 1-2 cups
  • Chocolate sauce (or just substitute the white milk with chocolate milk) 1-3 tbs
  • Cashew butter 1 tbs
  • Hemp hearts 2 tsp
  • Coconut oil 1 tbs
  • Yellow Maca powder 1.5 tsp

After your workout, blend the pre-chilled ingredients for ~45 seconds. Enjoy!
