eat your heart out

I HATE the smell of tuna. HATE it. BUT tuna has some serious benefits. So, last year I decided to give it a try, since it is both healthy AND relatively cheap. It wasn’t half bad. I’ve since worked on developing my own tuna recipe, and this is what I came up with. (This is some serious cancer fighting deliciousness.)

1 can tuna in water, drained and mashed
3 tbs plain greek yogurt
1.5 tsp lemon juice
1 small avocado, mashed
1/2 tsp cayennePhoto on 2014-09-23 at 11.07 PM
2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp garlic plus
salt and pepper to taste

mash together, you’re done!

I like to eat it on a nice grainy bread with capers, sliced dill pickles, arugula, spinach and baby kale.

This is seriously my FAVOURITE recipe right now. It’s cheap, easy, really healthy, filling, and DELICIOUS. BEYOND DELICIOUS.
